Istanbul
Two continents, one skyline, and a market that has traded for six centuries.
Istanbul straddles the Bosphorus: Europe on one bank, Asia on the other, and a ferry between them for the price of a token. The Grand Bazaar has been trading on the same site since the 1450s and still shuts on Sundays.
One honest note. We have not yet recorded coordinates for the airport here, so Istanbul reads Not scored on the board and on this page — not because the air is bad, but because we will not print a figure we have not measured. The fare, the schedule and three departures a week are unaffected.
